MEET THE CAST of Michael Frayn’s ‘Noises Off’:

Originally from the A.C.T, Jason began performing at the ripe old age of six, singing and dancing along with the MGM classics for an enthusiastic audience of family members. It wasn’t until he was eleven when Jason really started to develop a passion for musical theatre and drama, making his stage debut in a local production of ‘Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ featuring in the children’s chorus.
After relocating to Bendigo at fifteen, Jason was pleased to be offered his first named role as ‘Courfeyrac’ in Bendigo Community Theatre’s production of ‘Les Miserables’. He then won the supporting role of ‘Amos Hart’ in ‘Chicago’ for which he was nominated for ‘ The Gladys Moncrief award for Best New Talent’ and was extremely humbled to receive the ‘Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role’ through The Music Theatre Guild of Victoria.
Jason has continued to enjoy being challenged by the roles he has been lucky enough to play, such as; ‘Koko’ in the ‘Mikado’, ‘Kenneth Gibson’ from ‘Call me Madam’, ‘Skimbleshanks’ and ‘Munkustrap’ in ‘Cats’ and other great productions with BCT like ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum’ , ‘Once a Catholic’ and ‘Princess Ascending’
Jason has loved being involved with BTC since ‘Oklahoma’ in 2007, honoured to have been given the opportunity to play his dream roll of ‘Rooster’ in ‘Annie’ and dance in such a brilliant production of ‘Chicago’ last year in 2014.
Jason focuses most of his offstage time on providing private vocal tuition and undertaking numerous dance fitness classes at Z Fit Studios.
He is loving the drama and comedy of ‘Noises Off’ and can’t wait to introduce ‘Garry LeJeune’ to Bendigo audiences.
